Nick Wayne: The Beginning Of My Time In AEW Has Been Amazing

Nick Wayne discusses the beginning of his time with All Elite Wrestling.

In February 2022, Nick Wayne signed an apprenticeship deal with AEW. He was unable to join the company until he graduated high school. Wayne then made his debut on the July 12 episode of AEW Dynamite, and he has been a featured member of the roster ever since.

Speaking with MuscleManMalcolm, Wayne was asked to discuss competing on TV at such a young age. He made it clear that he practically feels like he’s dreaming. Wayne also stated that being in AEW has been an amazing experience so far.

“It’s jaw-dropping, bro, [and] it’s very eye-opening,” Nick Wayne said. “It’s crazy, even for me sometimes. I feel like I’m in a dream half my life, you know what I mean? Being a part of AEW has truly been an amazing experience and one of the best experiences of my life thus far.

“The roster has the best wrestlers in the world right now. It’s just such an amazing environment there, and I enjoy the wrestling so much. To wrestle on a stage like AEW on a national TV level, it’s so crazy to think that I’m really doing this right now. I can’t believe it, bro.”

On the September 6 episode of AEW Dynamite, Nick Wayne will face Darby Allin in a Grand Slam World Title Eliminator Tournament quarterfinal. WrestleZone will have coverage of the show as it airs.
