Tiffany Stratton was surprised by Becky Lynch on Tuesday’s episode of NXT. “The Man” revealed she would challenge for the Buff Barbie’s Women’s Championship. Following the revelation, the champion has a message for her challenger.
This week’s episode of WWE NXT kicked off with Tiffany Stratton defending her championship against Kiana James. Despite James seeming to have had the upper hand for most of the match, Stratton was only one Prettiest Moonsault away from picking up the win.
The Buff Barbie’s celebration was cut short as Becky Lynch made a surprise appearance. The Man broke the news that she will be returning to NXT. She will be showing up to challenge Tiffany Stratton for the Women’s Championship. Now, The Man looks to win the one title that she’s never held in her illustrious WWE career.
The match was later made official by WWE management. After it was made official, Stratton took to Twitter to share a message for Big Time Becks.
“BRING IT MISS BIG TIME,” Tiffany Stratton tweeted.
This match between Lynch and the Buff Barbie is not something that happened randomly. Stratton has been taking subtle shots at The Man for the past several weeks. The NXT Women’s Champion even showed up on Monday Night Raw and also at the Payback Premium Live Event to poke fun at Lynch.
Stratton won the NXT Women’s Championship at the NXT Battleground Premium Live Event by defeating Lyra Valkyrie in the Championship tournament finals. Since then, the Buff Barbie has successfully defended her title on live television a total of three times. She also defended the belt at house shows.
