The September 5 episode of WWE NXT ended with Bron Breakker seemingly smashing Von Wagner‘s head with steel steps.
Breakker defeated Wagner in a No Disqualification Match on Tuesday not. Not satisfied with a mere victory, Breakker assaulted Wagner after the match was over. He took the steel steps and raised them while Wagner was laid out. As he brought them down, the show faded to black and came to an end.
The abrupt end of the broadcast left fans curious to see what happened next. WWE tweeted a clip of the aftermath, as Wagner was being stretchered to the back. In the clip, Wagner’s head was bandaged, and Shawn Michaels was part of the group that walked with him. WWE announced that Wagner would be evaluated at a local hospital.
