Two high-stakes matches have been announced for the September 6 episode of AEW Dynamite.
The first two matches in the Grand Slam World Title Eliminator Tournament have been confirmed for Wednesday’s show. Darby Allin will face Nick Wayne in a battle between two close friends. Allin is coming off a hard-fought loss to Luchasaurus at AEW All Out.
Plus, Roderick Strong will return to the AEW ring for the first time since the July 1 episode of AEW Collision. He will clash with Roderick Strong in a quarterfinal match in the tournament. Strong, wearing a neck brace, has often appeared on AEW TV in recent months. He has not wrestled since August 13.
