WWE SmackDown Viewership Drops On 9/1, Demo Also Down

WWE SmackDown viewership decreased on September 1.

Wrestlenomics reports that 2.443 million viewers tuned in on Friday. This number is down from last week, when 2.647 million viewers watched the show. The August 25 episode was a tribute show for Bray Wyatt and Terry Funk after they passed away.

In the 18 to 49 demographic, SmackDown scored a 0.65 rating. This number also marks a decrease from the previous week, when SmackDown drew a 0.78 rating in the same demographic.

Last Week’s Episode Of WWE SmackDown

The September 1 episode of WWE SmackDown featured the return of John Cena. Plus, Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar faced Austin Theory and Grayson Waller.

Elsewhere on the show, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn clashed with The LWO (Joaquin Wilde and Cruz del Toro). Additionally, Bayley faced Shotzi. In the main event, Solo Sikoa battled AJ Styles.
