Trent Beretta gets some brownie points, or perhaps cookie points, for being a good son.
At AEW All In, Trent Beretta, Chuck Taylor, Orange Cassidy, Eddie Kingston, and Penta El Zero Miedo faced Blackpool Combat Club in the wild Stadium Stampede match. At one point, Trent’s mom, Sue, drove up in a van and gave her son some cookies. Trent proceeded to use the cookie tray as a weapon, sending the treats flying in the process.
At a Starrcast media scrum (courtesy of Knockouts and 3 Counts), Trent Beretta was asked to reveal what kind of cookies Sue gave him. Trent revealed that he didn’t want to waste the cookies his mother thoughtfully baked, so he took some from catering instead.
“The ones that I had on the tray, I just took those from catering,” Trent Beretta said. “It wasn’t real. I didn’t want to waste her cookies. She had some kind of brownie bar.”
Taylor asked whether Sue flew with the cookies, and Beretta noted that she indeed brought them over across the pond.
Chuck Taylor Says Sue Was Supposed To Be Part Of Their Entrance
Chuck Taylor then described how Sue was initially supposed to be part of the group’s entrance at AEW All In.
“Actually our entrance, I don’t want to get too inside, but we didn’t know when Sue would come out,” Taylor said. “Maybe she would drive us to the ring, maybe she would come out at the end. We’d decided to have her come out in the middle, so they changed our entrance the night before.”
