Samoa Joe will defend the gold at AEW All Out.
As announced on the August 30 episode of AEW Dynamite, Shane Taylor will challenge Joe for the ROH World Television Championship at AEW All Out on September 2. Taylor won the Ring of Honor World Television Championship Eliminator Tournament to earn a shot at the gold.
Joe successfully defended the title against Dalton Castle at ROH Death Before Dishonor. He won the title by defeating Minoru Suzuki on the April 13, 2022, episode of AEW Dynamite.
Taylor is a former ROH World Television Champion. He has also held the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship.
The September 3 pay-per-view will feature another ROH championship match; MJF and Adam Cole will defend the RPH World Tag Team Championship. Their challengers will be determined in a battle royal on the September 1 episode of AEW Rampage.
