John Cena‘s return on the September 1 episode of WWE SmackDown won’t just be a one-off.
In a press release, WWE announced that John Cena will appear on SmackDown for seven consecutive weeks following his return on the September 1 episode. Tickets are available here.
The dates and venues for Cena’s appearances are as follows:
- Friday, September 1 – Hershey, Pa. – The Giant Center
- Friday, September 15 – Denver – Ball Arena
- Friday, September 22 – Glendale, Ariz. – Desert Diamond Arena
- Friday, September 29 – Sacramento, Calif. – Golden 1 Center
- Friday, October 6 – St. Louis – Enterprise Center
- Friday, October 13 – Tulsa, Okla. – BOK Center
- Friday, October 20 – San Antonio – AT&T Center
- Friday, October 27 – Milwaukee – Fiserv Forum
WWE also announced that, in partnership with Make-A-Wish, Cena will host children and their families in each of the eight cities. The families will experience a WWE live event in-person. Per WWE, Cena is the most requested wish granter ever, and he has granted more than 650 wishes.
The press release noted that Cena will appear on the specified episodes of WWE SmackDown. However, it is unclear whether he will wrestle on the shows.
Cena has also been John Cena & Seth Rollins To Team Together At WWE Superstar Spectacle In India (wrestlezone.com) in India on September 8. There, he will team up with Seth Rollins to face Imperium.
