WWE & NFL Announce First-Ever Officially Licensed NFL Legacy Title Belts

The new WWE and NFL legacy titles are giving every team and its fans a chance to be world champion. (Yes, even the Miami Dolphins and Detroit Lions)

The National Football League and WWE announced a multi-year licensing deal to create NFL-inspired WWE legacy championships. Each one of the titles features the official colors and logos of all 32 teams.

This is the first-ever licensing agreement between WWE and the NFL.

WWE already has a licensing agreement with Major League Baseball. WWE announced MLB-Inspired WWE Championship title belts for all 30 teams in 2022. WWE’s NFL announcement is also part of a larger deal with Fanatics that was announced last year. Fanatics helped re-launch WWE Shop and produces “licensed merchandise, collectibles and NFTs.”

Fans can purchase the WWE x NFL legacy titles now on NFLShop.com, WWEShop.com and Fanatics.com.

The 2023 NFL season officially kicks off on Thursday, September 7 with a game between the World Champion Kansas City Chiefs and the aforementioned Detroit Lions. Games will open league-wide on Sunday, September 10.
