Keith Lee was the subject of some speculation, but a new report shines some light on the matter.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reports that a story regarding Lee gained some traction in recent ways. Lee was said to have walked out of AEW last week. However, Sapp wrote that the story is not true, and the situation was a miscommunication.
Per sources, Sapp wrote that Lee was present at the television tapings on August 16. He was told that he wasn’t being used for Dynamite, so he left, which is typical in most cases. That being said, Lee was booked for AEW Rampage, but he didn’t know before he left. As a result, AEW adjusted the card.
Sapp wrote that there is no word of any heat between the two sides, and the situation was blown out of proportion on social media. Lee is at the August 23 tapings in Duluth, Georgia, per Sapp.
