Ava (Simone Johnson) competed in her first televised singles match on the August 22 episode of WWE NXT.
In recent weeks, Ava anad Schism have been feuding with Ivy Nile and Diamond Mine. Nile has been by herself since The Dyad defeated The Creed Brothers in a Loser NXT Match. However, she has continued to fight against the stable. Ava challenged Nile to face her on the “Heatwave” special episode of WWE NXT on August 22.
The two stars faced off on Tuesday night, and Nile scored the submission victory in a fairly brief match. Schism went to attack Nile after the bell, but she fought them off. Ava was then carried to the back by two masked members of the group.
Ava previously made her televised in-ring debut at NXT Stand & Deliver, where Chase U defeated Schism. She later competed in a mixed tag team match on the June 6 episode of WWE NXT. There, she teamed up with The Dyad to beat Nile and the Creed Brothers. Ava wrestled in her first singles match at an NXT live event on August 19.
