WWE has announced the premiere date for Kurt Angle‘s Peacock documentary.
As announced in a commercial during the August 21 episode of WWE RAW, Angle will premiere on Peacock on Saturday, September 2. The documentary will focus on Angle’s personal life and his WWE career. The trailer featured interviews with a number of WWE stars and legends, including Ric Flair.
Kurt Angle Comments On His Documentary
Angle stated that WWE had acquired the rights to the documentary in July 2022. Speaking on The Kurt Angle Show, the legend previewed the program and noted that it would highlight his personal life.
“The WWE bought the show from us, the documentary, and they changed it up a little bit and made it a little more pro-wrestling-oriented,” Kurt Angle said. “But we made a deal with them that this will air on Peacock next year, my previous documentary, before they actually added more WWE stuff to it.
“The one next year on Peacock will be more about my personal life, growing up and before the WWE. It’s a really well-rounded documentary. But the one WWE is showing will pro-WWE stuff.”
