Deonna Purrazzo looks forward to sharing the ring with Giulia.
At IMPACT x NJPW Multiverse United, Deonna Purrazzo will challenge Giulia for the NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship. The four-way match will also include Gisele Shaw and Momo Kohgo.
Speaking with Tom Campbell on Desert Island Graps for Cultaholic Wrestling, Purrazzo shared her thoughts ahead of the match, She emphasized that she was excited to face Giulia and challenge for the NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship.
“I’m so excited, and when I was told there was potential to do this, it was like, ‘Absolutely.’ That’s someone I need to wrestle,” Deonna Purrazzo said. “It’s someone that, when fans talk about a dream match, has consistently popped up over the last few years. I just think it’s cool to see that our paths have never crossed, but we’ve been in so many similar places. Me in Japan, her coming to the states, and winning a championship in Japan is something that eluded me until now.”

Purrazzo continued by stating that winning the title is something that she has wanted to check off her list for a while now. She called the opportunity “the perfect mix” for her.
“I get the opportunity to compete for the New Japan STRONG Women’s Championship. That’s something I want to check off my list of things I’ve always wanted to do,” Purrazzo said. “I never got to win a championship in STARDOM, and now I have the possibility to from one of the top competitors there. It’s the perfect mix for me.”
