Adam Cole Reflects On His Health Issues
In a previous interview, Adam Cole reflected on suffering two concussions in 2022. He suffered one concussion at AEW Double or Nothing 2022 and another at the Forbidden Door pay-per-view the following month. Cole’s future in wrestling was up in the air, but he fought hard to work his way back to the ring.
Speaking with Sports Guys Talking Wrestling, Cole discussed his mindset regarding his mission to overcome these obstacles.
“I knew I had a lot of hard work ahead of me, that’s for sure,” Cole said. “And even still, as discouraging as getting that result was, I honest to god though I never truly accepted the idea of stepping away from the ring. I was so focused and so determined that I am going to be at rehab every single day that I can go. I’m going to do everything necessary to make sure that I’m able to get back into the ring.”
At AEW All In, Adam Cole will challenge MJF for the AEW World Championship. WrestleZone will have coverage of the show as it airs on August 27.
