Following the August 17 episode of IMPACT Wrestling on AXS TV, new matches are made official for IMPACT Emergence on August 27.
SANADA, the IWGP World Heavyweight Champion, will officially be taking on Jake Something in a non-title match at the upcoming event. It was previously announced that SANADA would be in action, but it was never specified who he would be facing.
The Rascalz’s Zachary Wentz and Trey Miguel will also face SUBCULTURE (Mark Andrews and Flash Morgan Webster) for the IMPACT Tag Team Championship. The Rascalz earned their spot in the event after defeating Rich Swann and Sami Callihan in the finals of a tournament on IMPACT on August 17.
