AEW’s Sponsor Money From ‘Texas Chain Saw Massacre’ Being Donated To Maui Food Bank

The August 16 episode of AEW Dynamite supported a great cause, as did the Texas Chainsaw Massacre Death Match.

Due to the wildfires in Maui, Tony Khan announced that Wednesday’s episode would kick off Fight for the Fallen. Proceeds from the live tapings on August 16 and August 19 would be donated to the Maui Food Bank.

The first night of the special delivered a loaded card, which included the Texas Chainsaw Massacre Death Match between Jeff Hardy and Jeff Jarrett. The bout came in conjunction with The Texas Chain Saw Massacre video game. Jarrett ultimately won the match, thanks to a little help from Letterface.

Khan then tweeted that all sponsor money from the tie-in would be donated to Maui Food Bank.

Additionally, Khan wrote that “lots of changes” were made to Wednesday’s episode of ARW Dynamite to make the show the Fight for the Fallen special.
