WWE has announced a stacked lineup for NXT Heatwave on August 22.
NXT North American Champion Dominik Mysterio and WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley are set to team up to take on the duo of Dragon Lee and Lyra Valkyria. Ripley officially laid down the challenge after their respective encounters in recent weeks.
Additionally, Von Wagner will go one-on-one with Baron Corbin after their in-ring confrontation led to a pull-apart brawl on the August 15 episode. Plus, NXT Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton is set to appear.
As previously announced, the special episode will be headlined by Wes Lee challenging Carmelo Hayes for the NXT Championship. Lee earned the opportunity by defeating Dijak in a number one contender’s match on August 15.

- NXT Heritage Cup Championship: Nathan Frazer (c) vs. Noam Dar
