Brian Cage Posts Update After Missing AAA TripleMania 31 CDMX

Brian Cage comments on his absence from AAA TripleMania 31: CDMX.

Cage was set to challenge for the AAA Latin American Championship at the event on August 12. Instead, Texano Jr. replaced him, and the commentary team noted that Cage was not cleared to compete. QT Marshall ultimately won the match, which also included Pentagon Jr. and Dralistico.

Cage shared a video in which he was in the emergency room, and he explained that he wouldn’t be making his flight or his scheduled match at the show. Cage stated that he planned on being there, but the situation prevented that. He wrote that he will be fine, and he’ll be sidelined very briefly. Cage stated that he will be “gtg next week.”

In the video, Cage could be seen in a hospital bed.

Cage is currently signed to All Elite Wrestling and Ring of Honor. He is one-third of the ROH World Tag team Champions. Cage last wrestled on the August 11 episode of AEW Rampage, where he lost to Darby Allin.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
