The August 16 episode of AEW Dynamite will feature a Texas Chainsaw Massacre Death Match between Jeff Jarrett and Jeff Hardy.
Jeff Jarrett announced the news during a video message on the August 11 episode of AEW Rampage. He announced that the match would be in conjunction with The Texas Chain Saw Massacre Video Game. Jarrett noted that “everyone’s favorite anti-hero” Leatherface might be around. He also stated that the match would not have any rules, and he would take Hardy out.
Additionally, as confirmed during Friday’s episode of AEW Rampage, Wheeler Yuta will challenge Orange Cassidy for the AEW International Championship. Yuta issued the challenge to his former Best Friends stablemate after Cassidy beat Johnny TV to retain the title on AEW Rampage.
