Matt Hardy believes there will be more matches between The Hardys and The Young Bucks.
The two teams previously clashed during The Hardys’ run in Ring of Honor. They then faced off at AEW Double or Nothing 2022, where The Hardys emerged victorious. The Young Bucks got revenge by defeating Matt and Jeff Hardy on the August 9 episode of AEW Dynamite.
Speaking on The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy prior to AEW Dynamite, the veteran shared his mindset ahead of the bout.
“Excited for it,” Hardy said. “Any time we hook up with the Bucks, I feel like we both have really good chemistry with one another. We make magic happen, and we have quality matches. I feel very good about tonight, excited for it.”
Hardy then noted that, beyond Wednesday night, he felt confident that The Hardys have many matches with The Young Bucks left. He stated that there’s plenty of meat on the bone for a potential clash with the two teams.
“I know I said I definitely had another match with the Bucks coming up,” Hardy said. “But I think we have many, many matches with the Bucks left. I think there’s still plenty of meat on the bone as far as a Hardys/Young Bucks conflict going forward somewhere in the future. I feel like that’ll happen.”
Matt Hardy On The Hardys vs. The Young Bucks in a Ladder Match
Matt Hardy went on to respond to a viewer who brought up a potential Ladder Match between the two teams. He expressed his interest in the idea.
“I think there is a point where we could get to a Hardys/Young Bucks ladder match,” Hardy said. “I would love to do that.”
