Logan Paul‘s opponent for his return to the boxing ring has been confirmed.
Paul will face Dillon Danis at The Prime Card at The AO Arena in Manchester, England. The event will air live on DAZN pay-per-view.
“The Maverick” commented on the news by noting that the bout would mark his return over two years after he faced Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition match. He called Danis a parasite and vowed to erase him from existence. As of this writing, Paul has lost his only professional fight; KSI defeated him by split decision in 2019.
Danis is a mixed martial artist, and he is renowned for his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu skills. The bout will mark his boxing debut.
As Paul noted, his last boxing fight came in June 2021, when he went to a draw against Mayweather.
Additionally, The Prime Card will also feature a clash between KSI, Paul’s business partner, and Tommy Fury.
Logan Paul Wants To Bounce Between Boxing And WWE
On the latest episode of IMPAULSIVE, Logan Paul stated that he wanted to bounce back and forth between boxing and WWE.
“I’m interested to see how this conversation continues and my WWE career story arc happens with this boxing weaving in. Because I want to hop back and forth.
” I don’t know if it’s ever been done, like a dual combat sports back and forth,” Paul said. “It’s cool. I want to find a way to weave the conversations, especially since WME just bought WWE and UFC. It’s like we’re all becoming family. It’s interesting.”
Paul defeated Ricochet at WWE SummerSlam.
