Jimmy Uso and Roman Reigns will appear on the August 11 episode of WWE SmackDown.
During the August 7 episode of WWE RAW, the broadcast recapped the Tribal Combat match at WWE SummerSlam. There, Jimmy Uso returned and betrayed Jey Uso. In doing so, he cost Jey the bout against Reigns.
WWE then announced that Jimmy will return to the Island of Relevancy and acknowledge Reigns on Friday’s episode of SmackDown.
Reigns and Sikoa previously took Jimmy out with a brutal attack on the July 7 episode of SmackDown, and he had been sidelined until WWE SummerSlam.
The updated card for the August 11 episode of WWE SmackDown is as follows:
- Jimmy Uso acknowledges Roman Reigns
- WWE United States Championship: Austin Theory (c) vs. Santos Escobar
- AJ Styles vs. Karrion Kross
WrestleZone will have coverage of the show as it airs on Friday.
Paul Heyman Talks Bloodline Story
At the SummerSlam Press Conference, Paul Heyman was asked to describe what he would do after The Bloodline broke up. He stated that they have plenty of story left to tell. “The Special Counsel” also stated that they keep adding layers to it.
“We continue to layer and peel back layers and reveal more things about each persona, where just when you think you have the persona completely figured out, there’s something new to learn about that person and their dynamic within the other people in the group. Sometimes, it involves people outside of the group, like Sami Zayn. So what will I do when The Bloodline disbands? I don’t know. I’ll probably be celebrating my 120th birthday by then.”
Heyman has also said that the Bloodline story is only in the bottom of the third inning. Check out his comments here.
