Nick Gage wants to face Jeff Hardy.
Hardy made his GCW debut when he appeared at My Name is GCW on August 4. The AEW star didn’t wrestle, but he came to the ring. He dropped Blake Christian with a Twist of Fate and shared a moment with Gage.
Speaking with MuscleManMalcolm, Gage was asked about sharing the ring with Hardy.
“Dream come true, man,” Gage said. “Another guy who paved the way for a lot of people in this business, especially this craft that people are applying now, the young generation, coming up. I think he paved the way for a lot of guys who are doing their thing right now.
“It was an honor to be in there with him. Super cool guy. Friendly in the back. Everybody was cool with him. We always love having people like Jeff Hardy come through GCW.”
When asked whether he would want to wrestle Jeff Hardy, Gage made it clear that he did. He also expressed his confidence that he would win.
“I would wrestle Jeff Hardy anytime, anywhere, any place. I’ll wrestle anybody. [Asked if he would win.] Of course I’d win. I would put the pizza-cutter to his forehead, and I feel like he might be crying a little bit. Then I would hit him with the double piledriver-powerbomb, roll him up and pin him.”

Time will tell whether Gage and Hardy will ever face each other in a match.
