Robert Roode is reportedly working backstage the weekend of WWE SummerSlam.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that Roode is in town for WWE SummerSlam. He wrote that, in asking around, he was told that Roode will be helping out as a producer. The veteran will also be at the August 7 episode of WWE RAW was a producer.
Roode has not wrestled since late 2022. He has had multiple surgeries since then; Roode had a second spinal fusion surgery in May 2023.
The former TNA World Heavyweight Champion signed with WWE in 2016. During his time with the company, he has held the NXT Championship and the United States Championship. He is also a former RAW and SmackDown Tag Team Champion.
