Eric Young returned to IMPACT Wrestling at IMPACT Slammiversary after being stabbed by Deaner after the December 1, 2022, IMPACT program. On August 3, previously unseen footage of his survival surfaced.
In the footage, Eric Young spewed blood after Deaner left the scene. He crawled to his motorcycle and took off. Young stated in a voiceover that he had lived a thousand lives in wrestling and planned on living a thousand more and that he now considers himself an idea, and as such, he will live forever.
