Samoa Joe will battle Gravity on the July 29 episode of AEW Collision.
AEW confirmed that ROH World Champion Samoa Joe will face Gravity on Saturday night. The title won’t be on the line, but Joe will have the chance to gain momentum. He defended the title against Dalton Castle at ROH Death Before Dishonor. Gravity competed on the July 26 episode of AEW Dynamite. There, he lost to “The Bastard” PAC.
Additionally, former world champion CM Punk will speak on AEW Collision after he and Darby Allin lost to Ricky Starks and Christian Cage last week. Finally, former ROH Women’s World Champion Mercedes Martinez will face Kiera Hogan.
As previously announced, Adam Cole and MJF will challenge FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) for the AEW World Tag Team Championship. Elsewhere on the show, Buddy Matthews will battle Andrade El Idolo in a Ladder Match for Andrade’s mask. In trios action, The Gunns and Juice Robinson will face El Hijo del Vikingo, Darius Martin & Action Andretti.
