WWE star “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio takes a playful jab at his father, Rey Mysterio by referencing Eddie Guerrero.
“Dirty Dom” spoke on the latest edition of Up NXT, where he answered various questions from the WWE Universe. In one example, Dominik was asked whether he would ever reconcile with his dad.
“Will you ever reconcile with your dad? I dream about that every night. Sometimes it keeps me up, and I can’t sleep. But because he’s no longer with us, R.I.P., Eddie. I do what I can at this point.”
Mysterio was clearly referring to the infamous storyline where his real-life father, Rey Mysterio, and Eddie Guerrero clashed over Dominik’s paternity. Custody of Dominik was on the line when Rey faced Eddie at SummerSlam 2005, and Mysterio emerged victorious.
