After the July 26 episode of AEW Dynamite, All Elite Wrestling taped matches for the July 28 episode of AEW Rampage. The taping emanated from MVP Arena in Albany, New York.

- Big Bill and Brian Cage earned a tag team title shot by winning a Tag Team Battle Royale.
- Komander defeated Kip Sabian. Scorpio Sky was Sabian’s advertised opponent, but Komander replaced him.
- The Kingdom (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett) defeated enhancement talent.
- Hikaru Shida defeated Nyla Rose.

The July 26 episode of AEW Dynamite kicked off with Orange Cassidy defending the International Championship against Wheeler Yuta. In the main event, the Lucha Brothers scored a big win by beating Blackpool Combat Club and Best Friends.
