Lio Rush is injured, according to Game Changer Wrestling.
In a tweet on July 26, GCW posted an updated card for their “My Name is GCW” event on August 4. Rush was scheduled to compete at the show. However, GCW stated that Rush will miss the show due to an injury. The post did not offer additional information. Rush has yet to comment on the situation.
Rush last wrestled at the MCW Shane Shamrock Memorial Cup XXII on July 22. There, he defeated Myles Hawkins.
As of this writing, there is no word on how long Lio Rush will be out of action. WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
Lio Rush Reigns Supreme In IMPACT Wrestling
Lio Rush is the reigning IMPACT X-Division Champion. He won the title by defeating Chris Sabin at IMPACT Slammiversary on July 15. In recent months, Rush has also wrestled for New Japan Pro-Wrestling. He competed in the Best of the Super Juniors tournament. Additionally, he has worked for PROGRESS, 1 PW, and MLW.
