Xavier Woods wants to see Chad Gable get a bigger spotlight in WWE.
During a recent interview with Josh Martinez of Superstar Crossover, Xavier Woods was asked who he thinks is the most underrated WWE star today.
With little hesitation, Woods responded, “Chad Gable.”
The multi-time WWE Tag Team Champion explained that there are a lot of very underrated people in wrestling. However, he doesn’t believe that wrestling owes anyone anything. But right now, he believes there are so many talented people across the industry and that makes him very happy to see how the future plays out as the previous generations continue to raise up the next generation.
Woods continued, “For me personally, I wanna see Chad Gable get a spotlight because he deserves one. He’s a guy who came in, Olympic-level wrestler and fell into this and learned it quick. He’s athletic, agile, smart, creative, all of these things. So, my vote is for Gable and that’s a very long-winded way to say that.”
Gable has largely competed in tag teams during his time with WWE. He’s a four-time Tag Team Champion alongside the likes of Jason Jordan, Bobby Roode, and his current partner Otis.
