“Dirty” Dominik Mysterio will defend the gold at NXT Great American Bash.
As announced on the July 25 episode of WWE NXT, Mysterio will defend the North American Championship at the show. Former champion Wes Lee and Mustafa Ali will face Mysterio in a Triple Threat Match.
Ali had been scheduled to face Lee for the title. However, Mysterio beat Lee to win the gold on the July 18 episode of WWE NXT.
The three stars came face-to-face in a heated confrontation on Tuesday night. Lee made it clear that he wanted a rematch. He then brawled with Ali. The broadcast team later announced the Triple Threat match for the show.
