Kurt Angle and Hulk Hogan crossed paths several times in their wrestling careers. Hogan was, of course, on the backend of his career, but he stepped in the ring with Kurt Angle multiple times. At WWE King of the Ring 2002, Angle became the first WWE Superstar to tap out Hogan, and they would be back in the ring again on the July 4, 2005 episode of WWE Raw.

Speaking on the most recent episode of The Kurt Angle Show podcast, Angle opened up about his feelings on wrestling Hogan, saying that if you had the opportunity, you had to do your best because Hulk Hogan was the biggest name in the industry’s history.

“Listen, he’s the biggest name in the history of professional wrestling. You get the opportunity to get in the ring with him. You better be excited, you better be happy, and you better put on a five-star performance. Hulk Hogan at this point in his career. He could still go I mean, I’m not going to tell you that he was quick and flashy, but he got the job done, and he continued to,” said Kurt.
