Steph De Lander Says Wrestled In Front Of Ron DeSantis At The WWE PC

Steph De Lander says she wrestled for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis during her WWE run.

Speaking with VICE Australia, De Lander shared her thoughts on living in Florida.

“Everyone has a gun,” she said. “It’s not like, ‘Who has it?’ It’s like, ‘Who doesn’t?’ When I’m on these dating apps, my questions are, ‘Are you allergic to cats?’ If they’re allergic to cats, I don’t reply. Do you have a gun? If they have a gun, I don’t want to know about it.

“Florida just passed a law that you can openly carry a gun without having a permit. Very normal way to live. I was watching the news the other day, and I was like, I can’t believe I live here. [Laughs] I can’t believe this is reality.

The interviewer brought up Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, and De Lander revealed that she wrestled for him. She detailed how DeSantis came to the WWE Performance Center for a private show.

“I’ve wrestled in front of him,” De Lander said. “I wrestled for DeSantis, yeah. I did meet him. He came to the PC once. We got called in on a Saturday, that Ron DeSantis wanted to have a wrestling show for his kids, so him and his family came in, and they say front row. We all beat each other up on a Saturday morning because he wanted to take his kids to see the wrestling.”

De Lander also noted that if DeSantis wins the 2024 election, she’ll have wrestled in front of the president.

Steph De Lander Is Having Fun

Steph De Lander recently stated that she’s having more fun than ever. Speaking with Jamie Apps for Pario Magazine, she made it clear that she is enjoying herself.

“I’m having more fun now than I’ve ever had in wrestling,” De Lander said. “To me, that’s the aim
of the game in life… What I’m doing at the moment is as close to my real personality as it’s ever been… I feel like I’m bridging the gap between my true personality & my in-ring persona better than I ever have before, which is really fun.”

De Lander continues to compete throughout the wrestling world. She is currently paired up with Matt Cardona on the independent scene.
