Booker T says everyone in NXT right now needs a little more seasoning to make sure they’re ready for the main roster.
Several NXT stars, including Pretty Deadly and Indi Hartwell, moved to RAW or SmackDown in the 2023 WWE Draft. Fans are already speculating about which performers may be next to make the move.
In an interview with MuscleManMalcolm, Booker T was asked to name any NXT stars he’d like to see move up to the main roster right now. He noted that he’s not looking for anyone to make the jump, as he believes everyone in NXT could use a little more time to make sure they’re ready.
“I’m not looking for anyone to go to the main roster right now,” Booker T said. “So many guys just left, Grayson Waller, Dragunov, guys that I felt like it was their time to actually leave just because I felt like they were mature enough to handle that moment. But I think everybody right now that’s in NXT, even Carmelo Hayes, even Trick, I think those guys need to stick around just a little bit just so they’ll be ready for the main roster when they get there.”
