Tony Deppen‘s in-ring return has been announced.
Deppen has been sidelined with a broken arm since May; he suffered the injury during a match against Zack Sabre Jr. at GCW Fight Night: Brooklyn on May 11. Prior to the injury, Deppen had been active with GCW and ROH.
Game Changer Wrestling announced that Deppen will compete at GCW Homecoming The Showboat in Atlantic City, New Jersey, on August 19 and 20. His opponent was not announced.
In a tweet, Deppen commented on the news and noted that the past two and a half months have been “hell”, as the injury marked the longest he’s gone without wrestling besides the pandemic. Deppen stated that he’s coming back to reclaim what’s his.
