A new report provides an update on Brian Pillman Jr. after the second-generation star was spotted at the WWE Performance Center.
On July 11, PWInsider reported that Pillman Jr.’s contract with All Elite Wrestling expired, so the two sides parted ways. During his time with the company, Pillman Jr. teamed up with Griff Garrison as the Varsity Blonds. He later joined forces with Brock Anderson, the son of WWE Hall of Famer Arn Anderson.
Pillman Jr. then reportedly went to train at the WWE Performance Center, as reported by Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
In an update, Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that WWE brought Pillman Jr. to the Performance Center on Wednesday for a tryout that spanned through July 15.
WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
