Madison Rayne shares where she’s been the last few months.
Rayne spoke about her status during a signing appearance with East Coast Autograph Auctions. Rayne said (h/t POST Wrestling) that she’s been out for three months because she broke her foot.
“My most recent Ring of Honor match. Fun fact about this photo, this was moments before I broke my foot,” she explained. “Which is why I’ve been out of commission for the last three months. But fingers crossed that I’ll be back in the ring soon.”
Madison Rayne’s last match was recorded as a loss to Robyn Renegade at the April 7 Ring Of Honor television tapings in Kingston, Rhode Island.
PWInsider.com originally reported Rayne suffered an undetermined injury to her ankle or foot. The match was stopped early due to the injury.
Despite her in-ring absence, Rayne said she’s still working behind the scenes in AEW.
“In the meantime (while I’m not cleared), I am still coaching. I’m still doing several things backstage, growing into new positions within the company, loving every second of it,” she added. “Love my job, love where I am in my career right now and fingers crossed that in the next few weeks, I will be cleared to get back in the ring.”
