AEW Collision Results – July 15, 2023
AEW Collision kicks off with comments from the competitors of all three advertised matches. It certainly seems All Elite Wrestling is sticking with the feel of a Saturday Night’s Main Event open for its shows.
FTR defeated Bullet Club Gold to retain the AEW World Tag Team Titles in a two out of three falls match
- First fall: Jay White hits the Bladerunner on Cash Wheeler to score the pinfall victory for his team
- Second fall: FTR hits the Shatter Machine on Juice Robinson, and Cash Wheeler gets the pinfall for his team
- Final fall: Dax Harwood taps Juice Robinson out with the Sharpshooter to retain the titles for his team.
FTR offers a handshake to Bullet Club Gold after the match, and they spit at FTR’s feet instead.
A hype package plays for this Wednesday’s Blood & Guts match on AEW Dynamite between The Elite and Blackpool Combat Club.
Willow Nightingale defeated Ruby Soho to win the Women’s Owen Hart Cup Tournament
- Willow Nightingale hit the Babe with the Powerbomb on Ruby Soho to secure the pinfall victory.
Tony Schiavone tries to get a word with Powerhouse Hobbs backstage, but he’s interrupted by QT Marshall who once again tries to apologize to Hobbs. Marshall says Hobbs knows him and knows that there’s no way he would intentionally cost him the tournament. Marshall said his word is his bond, he asks if he has to find the biggest and badest guy in AEW and knock them out to prove it to him. Hobbs tells Marshall his word is his bond as he walks off.
Kings of the Black Throne (Malakai Black and Brody King) defeated Artimus Spencer and Randy Myers
- Andrade El Idolo walks out on the stage as Malakai Black hits The End to score the pinfall victory for his team.
Ricky Starks defeated CM Punk to win the Men’s Owen Hart Cup Tournament
- Ricky Starks, with a hand on the ropes, pinned CM Punk with a rollup victory.
