Zachary Wentz: If I Was IMPACT Management, I Would See Myron Reed Fits In The Rascalz

Zachary Wentz hopes Myron Reed can join The Rascalz in IMPACT Wrestling.

During a recent interview with Ashley Rose of TWM+, the recently-returned Zachary Wentz named several stars that he hopes to mix it up with during his latest run in IMPACT.

“I mean, Lio [Rush] just popped back up because he only did the joint show with them the one time, so I really would like a match with Lio Rush. That’s one match I have definitely wanted for a long, long time,” Wentz said. “I’ve wrestled Mike Bailey, but it wasn’t under the IMPACT banner, so it’d be cool to do that under the IMPACT banner.

“Honestly, I’m just excited to run some of these matches back, like us and Motor City Machine Guns, that’s always a classic. Myself and Trey have wrestled ABC numerous times across the world, and I’m ready to do it on IMPACT TV. Also The Design, too, because they’ve been making some waves. That’d be pretty sick. And then I know Sami [Callihan] and [Rich] Swann have been teaming up here recently, so I would definitely like to do that just for a few reasons. One, Sami is my trainer, my mentor, and Swann’s been like a brother and a role model for a long time.”

When asked about the possibility of Rascalz member Myron Reed joining them in IMPACT, Wentz noted that he would like to see it come to frutition.

“I’m not management, but if I was management, I would see what The Rascalz have been doing on the independents and how well Myron fits with the trio of The Rascalz,” Wentz said. “On IMPACT, The Rascalz have always been trios. So let’s just sub out Dez with Myron. I’m all for it, but that’s up to them.”

“He’s been with us since the start of The Rascalz. I know there for a little while he went to MLW and was doing the Injustice thing, but when we first started The Rascalz, The Rascalz was a four-man group.”

Wentz and Dezmond Xavier (Wes Lee) began teaming in 2015 and later formed The Rascalz with Reed and Trey Miguel in 2018. Wentz, Xavier, and Miguel all worked for IMPACT from 2018 through 2020, but Reed has yet to debut in the company.

Reed is a three-time MLW World Middleweight Champion and has been a free agent since January. He continues to team with Wentz and Miguel on the independent scene.

WrestleZone will have coverage of IMPACT Slammiversary as it airs on July 15.
