Britt Baker Wants A Blood & Guts Match For The Women In AEW

Britt Baker believes it’s time for the women to have a Blood & Guts match in All Elite Wrestling.

All Elite Wrestling’s Britt Baker was a recent guest on My Love Letter To Wrestling to discuss a wide variety of subjects. When asked who she’d like to face at All In this August, Baker said she’d love to have a rematch with Saraya on her home turf.

“Well, I think I would want to wrestle a homegrown talent,” Britt Baker said. “I would want to wrestle someone from the UK just because of the natural nemesis there. Honestly, I would say probably Saraya because I want to get a win back on her so bad and to wrestle her in her home country and to beat her there; for me, that would be the sweetest revenge ever because she beat me in her first match back in like, it felt like a decade so I’m still recovering from that. My pride’s a little shot. I would love to wrestle Saraya and pin her in front of her mom.”

When asked what her next goal is to accomplish in her career, Baker said she’d love to have a women’s Blood & Guts match in the future.

“Blood & Guts would be awesome to have a women’s match in Blood & Guts,” Britt Baker said. “I hope before I retire, that’s a regular feature of the Blood & Guts show because just to have the female presence, I think that would be such a spectacle. We have some crazy girls in AEW that would be willing to really put their bodies on the line, and I think that match would really, really deliver.

“And then obviously someday when the planets aligned to have a female main event on a pay-per-view, we haven’t had that yet. And it’s so tough because we have some of the greatest wrestlers in the world, and I understand that. So to be asked to main event a pay-per-view is an immense amount of pressure. And it’s not that the women aren’t talented enough to do it. It’s just we are so lucky that we have so many of the best wrestlers in the world.”
