Game Change Wrestling made a game-changing announcement, as Jeff Hardy has been announced for one of the company’s upcoming shows.
GCW announced that Hardy will make his GCW debut at GCW My Name Is on August 4 at Harpo’s Concert Theatre in Detroit, Michigan. In a tweet, GCW later stated that Hardy will be appearing in person on the show, but he will not be wrestling.
Hardy last wrestled on the June 21 episode of AEW Dynamite, where he and Matt Hardy lost to The Gunns. A post-match attack by Jay White and Juice Robinson took Jeff out of action. The veteran was reportedly taken off TV because he was unable to enter Canada due to his past arrests, and AEW was starting a Canadian tour.
Matt Hardy previously said that Jeff suffered a dislocated jaw on the June 21 episode of AEW Dynamite.
