Richard Holliday Wins ISPW Heavyweight Title, Gunning For Matt Cardona’s Record

Richard Holliday is looking to follow in Matt Cardona‘s footsteps with his return to the independent wrestling scene.

In the finals of a one-night tournament to crown a new ISPW Champion, Richard Holliday defeated Bull James thanks to an assist from his new manager, Busted Open’s Dave LaGreca.

Holliday took to social media to post a picture of him holding the ISPW Heavyweight Championship and said he’s gunning for the Indy God Matt Cardona’s title collection.

“AND NEW @ISPWWrestling Champion! First of many! I’m gunning for @TheMattCardona’s record of belts! Winning the @GCWrestling_ tomorrow night!! #SummerOfHolliday,” Richard Holliday said in a post.

Holliday is scheduled to challenge Blake Christian for the Game Changer Wrestling World Championship tonight at GCW: Clean Up Man.

Will Holliday add more championship gold to his luggage this evening? Or will Blake Christian have his fourth successful title defense? We’ll find out soon enough.
