Blackpool Combat Club’s Wheeler Yuta is pretty banged up at the moment.
Yuta went to war in a losing effort against Kenny Omega Wednesday night on AEW Dynamite, but it sounds like the match has left the youngest member of the Blackpool Combat Club worse for wear.
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Yuta suffered a hamstring injury in his match against Kenny Omega earlier this week on AEW Dynamite.
Despite the injury, they believe Yuta will return in time for the Blood & Guts match on July 19 as they don’t think the injury is a full tear.
Yuta has had quite the year so far as a member of the Blackpool Combat Club, including a big pinfall victory over Kenny Omega during Anarchy in the Arena back at Double or Nothing.
With the current injury to Bryan Danielson, the Blackpool Combat Club can’t afford another injury heading into Blood & Guts later this month.
