Natalya wants to face NXT Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton, and she’s open to going to NXT to have the match.
The former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion is one of the longest-tenured members of the WWE roster, and she delivered an impressive performance in her match against Rhea Ripley on the July 3 episode of WWE RAW. Moving forward, the veteran is eager to mix it up with a number of other stars.
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Natalya named several competitors she’s interested in facing. She also praised Cora Jade and NXT Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton. The veteran made it clear that she wouldn’t be opposed to going to NXT to face Stratton.
“I’d love to work with IYO [SKY], I would love to work with Bianca, I’d love to work with Bayley, with Dakota [Kai] when Dakota comes back. Somebody that’s really impressed me, I love working with Cora Jade at NXT. I love her character development and how she’s really kind of evolved in her character.
“Also, Tiffany Stratton, never judge a book by its cover. I’m like, damn, Tiffany has really kind of embraced her character. She’s very interesting to watch, but I like that she’s open about, ‘Hey, these are things I need to work on.’ She said recently in an interview a couple months ago, like she wants to get better in the ring and she knows that she’s still not there yet, but she wants to grow. It’s like she stepped out of character to say that she wants to get better, and I was like, damn, I really respect that. So one day I’d like to have a match with Tiffany, and I’m not opposed to going to NXT to do that.”
In the same interview, Natalya described how her confidence had been “rocked“, but she got it back when she faced Ripley on the July 3 episode of WWE RAW.
Natalya recently received six Guinness World Records Awards. More information is available here.
