Fred Rosser will not be in action at NJPW STRONG Independence Day, and the former STRONG Openweight Champion comments on his absence.
NJPW announced that Rosser will not be at the two-day show on July 4 & 5. Rosser had been scheduled to compete at the event.
In the post, NJPW shared the following message from Rosser, who noted that his absence is the result of circumstances that are beyond his control.
“Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond my control, I will miss New Japan STRONG July 4 & 5,” Rosser wrote. “Working with STRONG has been one of the highlights of my career. I am grateful to New Japan management and most importantly our fans for your continued support.
“There is so much more for me to accomplish with this awesome organization. You all will see me sooner than later in Japan! Thank you so much for the support and love that you have given me during my time here! More to come!”
Rosser last wrestled at the NJPW Academy Showcase on June 10.
WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
