The Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match is set to be a big one this year, and features a ton of high-profile superstars who can win. As far as Jake Paul is concerned, though, only one should.
Speaking to Sports Illustrated recently, Logan Paul‘s younger brother Jake spoke about the Money in the Bank match, and said that as far as he’s concerned, Logan is the obvious choice to win, because he’s “larger than life” and a heel.
“Logan is the best choice to win,” said Paul. “He’s larger than life. He has the bravado. He’s the heel. He’s perfect for this.”
Jake went on to say once again he’s sure that Logan will win, and also expanded on why both he and Logan work so well in sports like professional wrestling and boxing.
“There’s no doubt in my mind he will win,” says Paul. “At the end of the day, he’s an entertainer and a super athlete. He can do backflips, the splits, kip-ups, and he’s been creating his own moves out here training in Puerto Rico. He’s creative. That’s what the sport is built around: creativity. We’re hated in these worlds, and we fit perfectly into those characters.”
There’s at least one WWE Superstar that doesn’t want to see Logan Paul in the match, as LA Knight recently told Alistair McGeorge of Metro that it’s not a good idea.
“Well, I think that’d be a very bad idea for him,” Knight said. “As much as he’s shined in all of his matches he’s had so far, he’s gonna find out that it’s not gonna be quite the same shine this time around when I’m in that ring,’ he promised.”
Ricochet, Shinsuke Nakamura, LA Knight, Santos Escobar, Butch, Damian Priest and Logan Paul are the confirmed participants in the 2023 Men’s Money In The Bank ladder match. The event takes place on July 1 in London.
