BJ Whitmer‘s victim speaks out.
On June 12, All Elite Wrestling terminated producer BJ Whitmer, as he was arrested by the Boone County Sheriff’s Department in Boone County, Kentucky. Per the police’s records, Whitmer was charged with strangulation in the first degree and burglary in the second degree. He was released on June 12 on a $25,000 bond.
Speaking with FOX 19 Now, the victim, wished to remain anonymous, shared her story. She recalled the incident and noted that she as fighting for her life.
“I came into my house, and he was standing at the top of my steps, waiting for me,” she said. “[It led to] him attacking me and strangling me through different rooms of my home, and holding me down.
“He squeezed tighter and said, ‘I’m going to f—-ing kill you. Do you hear me? I’m going to kill you.’ Once we got to the point of where we stopped moving and he continued choking me, I absolutely knew. Instead of coughing, I lied, and I said I already called the cops. The second I said that, he let go.”
When asked if she feels safe, the victim said, “No, I don’t feel safe at all. Because he was released a week and a day after his arrest on a $25,000 cash bond.”
The victim noted that she is in therapy, and she has added security cameras and requested extra patrols from the sheriff’s department following the incident. However, she wanted to share her story, as she hopes to prevent future victims.
“None of this okay,” she said. “No female, no child, should ever have to go through what I went through.
