CM Punk is an AEW Collision guy, but he appeared on this week’s AEW Dynamite anyway.
The June 21 episode of AEW Dynamite kicked off with The Gunns defeating The Hardys after Bullet Club Gold provided the assist. A four-on-two beatdown ensued after, which prompted Ricky Starks, FTR, and even CM Punk to run down to make the save.
Once the babyfaces cleared the ring, Punk got on the mic and issued a challenge for an eight-man tag team match on this Saturday’s Collision. He stated, “I’m a Collision guy, I’m not even supposed to be here. I’ll see you chumps Saturday.”
Punk, FTR, and Starks will take on The Gunns, Jay White, and Juice Robinson just 24 hours before Forbidden Door.
