New Japan Pro-Wrestling has announced several matches for the two-day NJPW STRONG Independence Day event.
On July 4 and 5, NJPW STRONG will make its debut in Japan. The first night will feature a No Disqualification Match where Jon Moxley and Homicide will face El Desperado and Jun Kasai. Plus, TJP and Francesco Akira will defend the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship against Clark Connors and Dan Moloney.
Elsewhere on the show, YOSHI-HASHI and Hirooki Goto will put the NJPW STRONG Tag Team Championship on the line against Gabe Kidd and Alex Coughlin, and Tom Lawlor will face Kosei Fujita.
The second night of the show will feature a Final Death Match between Jon Moxley and El Desperado. YOSHI-HASHI and Hirooki Goto will put the IWGP Tag Team Championship against Gabe Kidd and Alex Coughlin, and Alex Zayne and Lance Archer will face Bad Dude Tito and Kosei Fujita.
