The first two entrants in the 2023 Owen Hart Tournament have been announced.
On the June 17 episode of AEW Collision, QT Marshall announced that Powerhouse Hobbs was entering the Owen Hart Tournament. Hobbs commented on the news by noting that the next chapter in the Book of Hobbs was about redemption, and he was coming to take what was his.
Later in the night, Ricky Starks announced that he was also entering the tournament. He made it clear that he would be honored to compete and help honor Owen Hart’s legacy.
The 2023 Owen Hart Tournament will kick off the weekend of AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, and it will conclude on the July 15 episode of AEW Collision, which will be held at the Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
